John Harold and his team of experienced sub-contractors did a great job on building our new house. John was on site almost every day overseeing and directing all aspects of the build, from initial layout through completion. He actively sought our input throughout the process and his main desire was to make sure we got what we wanted and he would spend as much time as we wanted explaining various options and their pro’s and con’s. His expertise was evident and his crews were knowledgeable and professional. All of the people at JM Harold Construction treated us like old friends and not like just another client. I can’t imagine a better house building experience.

I was referred to J.M. Harold Construction via a family friend to remodel my dental practice. John made every effort to ensure that the work proceeded in a timely and professional manner. Renovating a dental office is not an easy endeavor, due to the equipment, wiring, and extensive plumbing. Additionally, it is difficult to keep the practice closed for a long period of time. John and the subcontractors were able to renovate and have our practice closed for as minimal a period as possible. I was very pleased with the overall experience and outcome of the renovations, and would highly recommend JM Harold construction.

We are the very proud owners of a John Harold home in Leeward Subdivision. The way it all happened is still a mystery to me. We had been working with a house designer for 6 months and were planning to build. After seeing John’s house, we changed our minds in an instant. We decided that if the planning stages of building were so frustrating and stressful; how much worse would the actual building be? John and his office manager, Marianne, were a delight to work with. We suggested a couple of modifications and the y were most amenable to our requests. John’s attention to detail and efficient use of space is impeccable. Our new home fits us perfectly in terms of style and square footage. My favorite things are: (1) the windows, (2) the upstairs utility room, (3) the room colors being different shades of one color from a light, fun shade to a darker, more sophisticated shade, (4) the crown molding throughout the house and (5) the highest windstorm credit available. Lastly, there is a wonderful finished room with a full bath over the double garage. We added a Murphy bed, a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a coffee pot, which makes it great for overnight guests, a football party, and my art studio. The only thing we don’t like is the name of our street. Thank you, John and Marianne. You can’t be beat. Without a doubt, I recommend you to everyone.
